Hansel and Gretel is a well-known fairy tale published in 1812 about German pediatric interns who are also brother and sister.[1] In this whimsical tale, Hansel and Gretel are kidnapped by an evil program director and kept in an evil hospital made out of cake, candy, MRSA, C. difficile, and other delicious treats. Hansel and Gretel develop obesity and diabetes after eating the whole hospital, but eventually survive, lose the weight, and graduate residency.
