A '''face mask''' is a mask made of kevlar to not only provide oxygen therapy for patients, but to protect their faces from hockey pucks and baseballs. The breathing holes over the nose and mouth ensure the escape of carbon dioxide while the holes over the eyes allow for good central and peripheral vision.
