"Damn it, I hate the interview trail!!"

The interview trail is embarked upon by medical students interviewing for residency or residents interviewing for fellowship. Like The Oregon Trail, the interview trail is laden with hardships, mostly in the form of starvation, dysentery, and fording the river.[1] The most recent death on the interview trail was on November 19, 2017 when fourth-year medical student Eunice Justice died of dysentery.[2]
