"How many more do we need?"

The number needed to karaoke (or NNK) is the average number of patients who need to karaoke to prevent one additional bad outcome. The NNK assumes that one of the songs that will be sung is Bon Jovi's "Livin' on a Prayer."[1] Otherwise, the NNK is invalid and, importantly, just not fun.
