The '''SOFA''' score was a creation from [[Sepsis-3]] and helps quantity organ dysfunction and diagnosis diagnose [[Sepsish|sepsis]] and severe sepsis. Why the acronym? It is so easy to calculate you can do it while sitting on the SOFA! (Although you probably shouldn't and go tend to your patient instead.)
