Walking on Sunshine (Song)
"Walking on Sunshine" is a hit song by Katrina and the Waves, released in 1985.[1] Despite the upbeat tone of the song, podiatrists advise against actually walking on the surface of the sun. Even walking on asphalt barefoot on a hot summer day is a bad idea. Similar to walking on eggshells, there is a high risk of injury to the feet; in this case there is a realistic possibility of incineration of not just the feet but the body as a whole. Instead, podiatrists recommend not taking the advice of the song and just dancing along.
