A white cloud is best described as a "lucky bastard" who usually escapes an undesired shift (admissions, cross cover, nights, call, etc.) unscathed.[1] A white cloud typically sees less than 2 admission, had to deal with no Code Blues overnight, and maybe even snuck in a few hours of sleep and Netflix here and there. This is in stark contrast to the experience of a black cloud.[2][3]
