The '''Caesarian section''' (or '''C-section''') is a surgical operation in which an OB/GYN cuts through the abdominal wall of the mother in order to deliver her child. The procedure was named after Roman emperor Julius Caesar after he made his famous decree: "I came; I saw; I delivered" or "[[Veni, Vidi, Vagi|Veni, vidi, vagi]]." Caesar holds the title of being the only Roman emperor whose name is attached to an OB/GYN procedure.
