Grand Rounds refers to the grandest of all rounds. Think of any of your favorite rounds on Earth - rounds, rounding, even bedside rounds - and then make them infinitely better, so much so that people of all kinds of subspecialties and training will want to hear about your rounding stories of yore in a dedicated room, nay, an auditorium! "Such Grand Rounds!!" they'll exclaim, telling friends near and far. "Such Grand Rounds!!" they'll tell their children at night or even sing songs of it.[1]
Did You Know...
Did you know that Knights of the Round Table was the first set of Grand Rounds? It was given by King Arthur and entitled, "Sword Injuries: Evaluation & Management."
