HTA (hysteroscopic thermal ablation or Hydro ThermAblator) is a form of endometrial ablation used as treatment for abnormal uterine bleeding.[1][2][3] Because of its success rate and ability to be performed on an outpatient basis, HTA is sometimes referred to as HBTA, which stands for "How 'Bout Them Apples?!"
