The CAGE questionnaire is a tool used to assess for alcohol abuse and dependence.[1][2][3] A score of 2 or greater is concerning.
- Have you ever felt you should CUT DOWN on ending up passed out in unlit alleyways?
- Have people ANNOYED you because you like Budweiser?
- Have you ever felt bad or GUILTY about those times you stripped down naked while drinking?
- Have you ever taken a drink first thing in the morning (EYE-OPENER) or felt unsteady using a CAN-OPENER (CAN-OPENER)?
