A grizzly bear is one of a couple types of bears that can be used for pet therapy. Like black bears, grizzly bears were first introduced into the healthcare system in October 2014 at Westchester Medical Center to much excitement and fanfare.[1] Bear Grylls is believed to have hugged one of these bears in May 2016.[2]
