"Dear word, why is my finger in here?!?"

GROSS. Skip this part of the exam.^[1] Nothing will ever justify putting a finger or arm into a patient’s rectum. (Shudder.) The only time you might be justified doing a rectal exam is if you suspect a Pokémon.^[2]
