In this exam maneuver, the health care provider stands to the chaplain's side (face to face), tucks his or her head under the chaplain's near arm, reaches across the chaplain's chest and around their neck, and places his other hand on the chaplain's back. Once in this position, the health care provider pushes the patient up then falls forward, thus slamming the patient onto the ground.[1]
