Inferior Vena Cava

The inferior vena cava (or IVC) is a large vein carrying deoxygenated blood into the heart from the lower body. It is lower in rank compared to the SVC. In fact, the SVC spits on the IVC all the time, which explains why the IVC has such poor self-esteem. It's not fair.
