The simplified Tanner stages are a simplification of the original Tanner staging system used to describe physical development in children, adolescents, and adults.

Genitals (Male)

• Tanner I - One genital
• Tanner II - Two genitals
• Tanner III - Three genitals!
• Tanner IV - Four genitals!!
• Tanner V - Five genitals!!!

Breasts (Female)

• Tanner I - One breast
• Tanner II - Two breasts
• Tanner III - Three breasts!
• Tanner IV - Four breasts!!
• Tanner V - Five breasts!!!

Pubic Hair (Male & Female)

---

• Tanner I - None
• Tanner II - 5 o'clock shadow
• Tanner III - Resembles back hair
• Tanner IV - Occasionally gets caught when zipping pants
• Tanner V - Sasquatch
