A slippery slope is either:

  1. an idea that could lead to something disastrous,[1]
  2. an icy or snowy hill, which then leads to trauma, an emergency room visit, and then it gets busy, and we hate when the ER gets busy
  3. an ENT health care provider using Q-tips on himself/herself[2][3]
