The Karate Kidney is a 1984 martial arts drama about Daniel Larusso (Ralph Macchio) and how he comes to master nephrology thanks to the tutelage of Kesuke Miyagi (Pat Morita). The movie has been a goldmine for pop culture, from the phrase "Waxy casts on, waxy casts off," the bad guys of the Cobra AKI, and the infamous final karate move known as "The Creatinine."
