The simplified Tanner stages are a simplification of the original Tanner staging system used to describe physical development in children, adolescents, and adults.

Genitals (Male)

Tanner I - One genital

Tanner II - Two genitals

Tanner III - Three genitals!

Tanner IV - Four genitals!!

Tanner V - Five genitals!!!

Breasts (Female)

Tanner I - One breast

Tanner II - Two breasts

Tanner III - Three breasts!

Tanner IV - Four breasts!!

Tanner V - Five breasts!!!

Pubic Hair (Male & Female)

---

Tanner I - None

Tanner II - 5 o'clock shadow

Tanner III - Resembles back hair

Tanner IV - Occasional gets caught when zipping pants

Tanner V - Sasquatch
