A Magnet hospital is any of the following hospitals:

  1. A hospital designated Magnet status by the American Nurses' Credentialing Center (ANCC) based on factors such as patient outcomes and nursing job satisfaction
  2. A hospital that attracts patients to it left and right no matter what
  3. A hospital with really awesome magnets (MRIs, CT scanners, and stuff)[1]
