Frank Netter was an American surgeon and medical illustrator. Netter's Atlas of Human Anatomy has been essential in educating medical students about human anatomy, until it was supplanted by Google Maps. Whatever you do, just don't buy Steve's Atlas of Human Anatomy; it's a piece of crap. If you ever want to submit a drawing to Netters, it's worth a shot.[1]
