The process by which someone consults Medicine usually less than 1 hour before a scheduled event like surgery in order to clear a given patient or entity, whatever that means.
Examples of Such Consults
- On January 9, 2017, Delta pilot Captain Jack Wilson consulted Medicine to clear his plane for landing.[1]
