YOLO stands for “you only live once.” Human beings who live life by the mantra "YOLO" are known as Yolo sapiens.
Controversy
Many health care experts say that the phrase may not be 100% accurate. For example, if a patient dies but is successfully resuscitated, then the life post-resuscitation may be considered a second life, thus disproving YOLO. Another example comes from pharmacists. You may have heard the phrase “half life.” Since a steady state exists, which is usually achieved after 5 half lives, then mathematics would state that equals 2.5 lives, which, again, would disprove YOLO.
