CPR Adult Chest Compression Heart.png

A chest compression is a technique where one applies direct pressure over a patient's chest in an attempt to help circulation. It is arguably the best workout a health care professional can have while working in the hospital.[1][2][3] That being said, one cannot achieve orthopod-like biceps with chest compressions alone.[4]

Gomerpedia Tip

To maximize success during CPR, it is best to provide more than one chest compression.
