Tightrope walking, also called funambulism or f**king nuts, is the skill of walking along a wire or rope, often at great heights. When performed by professionals, it is death-defying and awe-inspiring. When performed by amateurs, it is a great way for trauma surgeons to keep their skills sharp.[1] Contrary to popular belief, Luke Skywalker was not a tightrope walker.
