DNR is legal order that stands for do not resuscitate (i.e. no code or allow natural death). The reason you didn't know what DNR means is because every patient in the universe is Full Code or Fullest Code possible since death is apparently curable.[1] In fact, the only people who are DNR are medical professionals.[2]
