Immunodeficiency is he failure of the immune system to protect the body from infection. There are numerous causes of immunodeficiency - HIV, diabetes, and malignancy - but the most common cause is having an open beverage at the nurses station.
Treatment
The Joint Commission rule about no open beverages at the nurses station.[1]
