The process by which someone consults Medicine usually less than 1 hour before a scheduled event like surgery in order to clear a given patient or entity, whatever that means.

Examples of Such Consults

1. On January 9, 2017, Delta pilot Captain Jack Wilson consulted Medicine to clear his plane for landing.^[1]
2. On February 5, 2017, one hour before kick off, both Falcons and Patriots team doctors consulted Medicine:
