Pathognomonic for drug seeking

The Teddy Bear sign refers to the association between the presence of a teddy bear on or near a patient and demand for narcotics. The groundbreaking TEDDY-BEAR trial showed there was a direct relationship between teddy bear size and the Dilaudid dose a patient demands.[1][2]
