Cocoon sign is positive when a patient does not respond to any stimuli and remains wrapped in a cocoon of blankets.[1] Only techs and phlebotomists can penetrate the cocoon. Management of patients with a positive cocoon sign solely relies on vital signs, lab findings, and imaging.
