CAGE Questionnaire

The CAGE questionnaire is a tool used to assess for alcohol abuse and dependence.[1][2][3] A score of 2 or greater is concerning.

  1. Have you ever felt you should CUT DOWN on ending up passed out in unlit alleyways?
  2. Have people ANNOYED you because you like Budweiser?
  3. Have you ever felt bad or GUILTY about those times you stripped down naked while drinking?
  4. Have you ever taken a drink first thing in the morning (EYE-OPENER) or felt unsteady using a CAN-OPENER (CAN-OPENER)?
