A nasal cannula is a device to deliver supplemental oxygen to a patient and his or her forehead.[1] If you choose to not place the nasal cannula onto your forehead, the next best positions are: intranasal (unilateral), intraoral, around the neck, in the earlobes, on the chin, on the eyeballs, on the bridge of the nose, and on the floor.[2]
