The precordial thump is a medical technique used in the treatment of ventricular arrhythmias. The technique is best described as "punch the patient in the chest as hard as you f**king can!" The People's Elbow is a variation of the precordial thump that is considered to be the most electrifying move in all of ACLS.[1]

Did You Know?

Did you know that The White Stripes created the album Icky Precordial Thump (Album) in dedication to those trained in ACLS?
