Cosignature

A cosignature is an attending physician's brief note and signature accompanying a document initially started or written by an intern, resident, nurse practitioner, or physician assistant, which is never really read by the attending physician but he or she will agree with it anyway because it would just take too long to explain why the disagreement.[1]
