HTA (hysteroscopic thermal ablation or Hydro ThermAblator) is a form of endometrial ablation used as treatment for abnormal uterine bleeding. Because of its success rate and ability to be performed on an outpatient basis, HTA is sometimes referred to as HBTA, which stands for "How 'Bout Them Apples?!"
