Full Moon is a misconception, the moon, Earth's only natural satellite, is always full. Some people believe the space demon, Rantithasias, feeds on the moon monthly. Then the rest of the month the moon spends its time recovering until full again. At this point patients feel safe to go to the hospital, specifically the ER, to get examined because their fear of Rantithasias eating them is at the lowest point.[1] Ironically a full moon is when Rantithasias is the most hungry and patients would be at the greatest risk. Unfortunately none of this is true. There is no Rantithasias and the moon is always full, it is just an optical illusion featuring the Sun.
