Full Moon

A full moon is a misconception. The moon, Earth's only natural satellite, is always full. Some people believe the space demon, Rantithasias, feeds on the moon monthly. The moon spends the rest of the month recovering until full again. This heal time is always 28 days and coincidentally is the same time Rantithasias becomes hungry again. At this point patients feel safe to go to the hospital, specifically the ER, to get examined because their fear of Rantithasias eating them is at the lowest point.[1] Ironically a full moon is when Rantithasias is the most hungry and patients would be at the greatest risk. Unfortunately none of this is true. There is no Rantithasias and the moon is always full; it is just an optical illusion between the Sun and the Moon's position.[2]
