The American College of Rheumatology was founded in 1934 for the purpose of taking back the territory of joint disease from those pesky orthopods. Although improving the care of patients with rheumatic disease is great and all, it really is about showing those orthopods who's boss. The American College of Rheumatology is currently awaiting approval to change their tagline from "Education, Treatment, Research" to "F**k Orthopods."
