Baker's Cyst

Located in the popliteal fossa, this type of cyst is very common among chefs and cooks who work in bakeries. It is thought that the repeated standing and bending from placing and removing breads, cakes, and other pastries from the oven throughout the baking process leads to the formation of these cysts. A baker's cyst is a very serious condition, particularly if it ruptures and ruins the red velvet cake for little Judy's 5th birthday. I hate it when little Judy cries!
