Can I Run Something by You?
From Gomerpedia
A common phrase used during a curbside, "Can I run something by you?" means that the person asking the question has no clue what they're doing with a patient's management, and is using this benign-sounding question to rope you into a consult or, worse, an admission.[1][2]
Gomerpedia Advice
When someone asks "Can I run something by you?" pretend you've been paged, act too busy to talk, or, if you have to, simply run away.
