What is MIPS?

---

- It replaces the Physician Quality Reporting System (PQRS)

- It is budget neutral

- Starting in 2017, physicians and physician groups can report for a full year or 90 days to be eligible for both a positive payment adjustment and a 5-minute man advantage.

- If providers choose to report nothing, they will incur a negative 4% payment and serve 2 minutes in the penalty box for unsportsmanlike misconduct.

- No f**king clue what else it does
