"Do I really need to be naked to have all my pulses checked?!"

A pulsus parodoxus is any pulse that poses a paradox to the examiner.[1]

Example of a Pulsus Paradoxus

"Hmmm, this femoral pulse is both present and absent... Pulsus paradoxus!!"

"Since this patient's radial pulse is both fast and slow, it can only be one thing..."

"I'm an intern, can't find the patient's legs nor his pedal pulse, but I know she's got one... Pulsus paradoxus!!"
