A femur is the long bone of the thigh and the longest bone in the body, which articulates at the hip and knee. When a baton is unavailable, a femur is a good substitute during track meets. When drumsticks are unavailable, femurs can be used for percussion.[1]
Physical Exam
With the use of a stethoscope, it is possible to auscultate silence.[2]
