- Oddly enough, one day later on February 1, 2015, public health researchers found that Doc McStuffins was more evidence based compared to The Dr. Oz Show.[2] Despite these findings, Doc McStuffins would not be asked back on the air.
- On February 21, 2015, the reality of Doc McStuffins' departure was cemented with Nickelodeon's leak of a new TV show, Dora the Malingerer.[3]
- On May 9, 2015, the Joint Commission officially shut down Doc McStuffins' clinic when she was found to have been guilty of numerous violations including HIPAA noncompliance, lack of a EHR, and lack of chaperoning during cross-gender examinations.[4]
