The American College of Surgeons (ACS) was founded in 1913 after surgeons finally decided that medical management wasn't working. Plus the game Operation rules![1]


Mission Statement


To improve the care of the surgical patient by consulting anesthesia, infectious diseases, and hospital medicine. And PT, OT. Nutrition and Wound Care too.
