Pure gold is a phrase best exemplifed by Gomerblog's takedown of Dr. Peter Edelstein who had written a piece justifying that it was somehow okay to yell at health care staff (see below).

Interestingly, almost immediately, Edelstein's piece was magically edited, replacing "to Yell" in the original title with an ellipsis and removing several curse words. Gomerblog concluded the one-sided Twitter war with an epic mic drop. Gomerblog and Gomerpedia would like to offer their thoughts and prayers to Edelstein's toaster. A GoFundMe campaign is in the works. For more information, please see the hashtag #saveedelsteinstoaster.
