In the health care setting, multidisciplinary rounds is a form of rounds or rounding where multiple disciplines - physicians, nursing, social services, nutrition, and others - are given equal opportunity to run late, run long, and ask "Why do we even do multidisciplinary rounds in the first place?"[1][2][3][4][5]
