(S)-Thyroxine Structural Formulae.png

Thyroxine (T4) is a hormone mass produced by the follicular cells of the thyroid gland with the help of iodine and traditional assembly-line techniques. T4 is converted into triiodothyronine (T3) by missionaries in peripheral tissues. T3 is more active than T4 because it is in better shape.
