Moist towelette with USA flag (97183841).jpg

A moist towelette is just that - a moist, small towel - and proves more useful than a dry towelette or tourniquet in most situations. As the size is usually no greater than perhaps 6" x 6", a moist towelette is a failsafe means to handle such things as penetrating trauma, severed limbs, and a brisk GI bleed. A health care provider's first choice should always be a moist towelette before gauze.[1][2][3]
