A nasal cannula is something that has only recently been shown to be less functional when worn as a headband.[1] If you choose to not place the nasal cannula into your nostrils, the next best positions are: intranasal (unilateral), intraoral, around the neck, in the earlobes, on the chin, on the eyeballs, on the bridge of the nose, and on the floor.[2]
